Item 5.02     Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On May 19, 2023, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Evelo Biosciences, Inc. (the “Company”) terminated the Company’s Executive Severance Plan, such that no compensation or benefits will be payable under the Severance Plan with respect to any termination of employment occurring after the Board approval.
