On January 7, 2022, Richard B. Fried, a director of Playa Hotels & Resorts N.V. (the “Company”), informed the Company that he does not plan to stand for re-election at the Company’s upcoming 2022 annual general meeting of shareholders (the “AGM”). There were no disagreements between Mr. Fried and the Company. Mr. Fried’s term will expire at the 2022 AGM.
