ITEM 8.01.        Other Events.

On March 3, 2020, Canadian Pacific Railway Limited issued a press release announcing that its wholly owned subsidiary, Canadian Pacific Railway Company, is issuing US$500 million of its 2.050% notes due 2030. A copy of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
