In August 2022, the Company announced the implementation of a strategic plan to realign internal investments and operations to prioritize the Company's two clinical programs. In connection with this decision, the Company announced a workforce reduction of 25% of its planned headcount, which was completed in August 2022. During the three and nine months ended September 30, 2022, the Company recorded aggregate restructuring charges of $0.5 million related to severance and other employee-related costs. The Company does not expect to incur any additional significant costs associated with this restructuring. During the three and nine months ended September 30, 2022, the Company paid $0.4 million of the restructuring charges.
