Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On June 25, 2022, Yun Yen, M.D., Ph.D., F.A.C.P., notified the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Fulgent Genetics, Inc. (the “Company”) of his decision to resign from the Board, the Audit Committee, the Compensation Committee, and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee of the Board, effective as of June 25, 2022. Dr. Yen’s decision to resign was not due to any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
