Related Party Transactions	11. Related Party Transactions In the fourth quarter of 2018, upon becoming an owner of record of more than 10% of the voting interest of the Company, Vertex became a related party under ASC 850, Related party disclosures. Refer to Note 6 for discussion of transactions with Casebia and Vertex, related parties. The Company is a party to intellectual property license agreements with Dr. Emmanuelle Charpentier. For the three and nine months ended September 30, 2019, the Company paid Dr. Charpentier approximately $1.2 million of sublicense fees in research and development expense primarily related to the Vertex Agreements.
