8. Pre-Funded Warrants

In connection with the Company’s previous underwritten public offerings, the Company issued pre-funded warrants to purchase an aggregate of 3,793,706 shares of the Company’s common stock. Each pre-funded warrant entitled the holder to purchase shares of common stock at an exercise price of $0.001 per share and expired 20 years from the date of issuance. These warrants were recorded as a component of stockholders’ equity within additional paid-in capital. The warrant holders exercised all the shares of outstanding pre-funded warrants in 2023 at an exercise price of $0.001 per share. As of June 30, 2024, there were no pre-funded warrants outstanding.
