Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On December 3, 2019, Aeglea BioTherapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”) will participate in a fireside chat at the Evercore ISI 2nd Annual HealthCONx Conference (“Evercore Conference”) in Boston, Massachusetts on December 3, 2019 at 8:45 a.m. Eastern Time. The Company will announce updated information on the design of its Phase 1/2 clinical trial for the Company’s AEB4104 program candidate in patients with homocystinuria and additional program updates for the Company’s AEB4104 and AEB5100 programs. A copy of the corporate presentation is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K. The corporate presentation will also be available on the Company’s website in the Events & Presentations section at www.aegleabio.com.

Item 8.01 Other Events.

On December 3, 2019, the Company will announce the design of its Phase 1/2 clinical trial for the Company’s AEB4104 program candidate in patients with homocystinuria at the Evercore Conference. Key endpoints include reductions in plasma total homocysteine levels, pharmacokinetics and safety and tolerability. The Company expects to file a CTA in the first quarter of 2020, initiate the Phase 1/2 trial in the second quarter of 2020 and provide initial clinical data in the first quarter of 2021. Additionally, the Company expects to provide dose response data on its AEB5100 program in the first quarter of 2020.
