Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

(a) On July 6, 2022, Sandesh Mahatme advised the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Aeglea BioTherapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”) that he would resign as a Class I director of the Board, effective on July 8, 2022. Mr. Mahatme’s resignation is not the result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to its operations, policies or practices.
