Item 8.01 Other Events.

On December 3, 2019, Avangrid, Inc. (the “Corporation”) issued a press release announcing that the board of directors of the Corporation declared a quarterly dividend of $0.44 per share on its common stock on December 2, 2019. This dividend is payable January 2, 2020, to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 12, 2019. A copy of the Corporation’s press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.

(Orange, CT – December 3, 2019) Today AVANGRID, Inc. (NYSE:AGR) announced that on December 2, 2019 its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.44 per share on its Common Stock. This dividend is payable January 2, 2020 to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 12, 2019.
