Item 8.01.     Other Events.

        

On June 9, 2017, Atlantic Alliance Partnership Corp. (the “Company”) received a written notice from the Listing Qualifications Department of The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC (“Nasdaq”) indicating that the staff of Nasdaq has determined, based on its review of the Company’s plan of compliance, to grant the Company’s request for the continued listing of its ordinary shares on Nasdaq, pursuant to an extension to evidence compliance with the minimum 300 round lot shareholder requirement applicable to the Company’s ordinary shares, as set forth in Nasdaq Listing Rule 5505(a)(3), by September 25, 2017.
