In the fourth quarter of 2019, we entered into agreements to acquire software in exchange for a combination of cash consideration and certain of our products and services. The software was acquired for $32.0 million, of which software valued at $25.5 million was received in the first quarter of 2020 and resulted in non-cash investing activity of $10.5 million for the six months ended June 30, 2020.

Internally developed software and purchased software include assets acquired through business acquisitions, including our Collateral Analytics acquisition. Refer to Note 2 — Business Acquisitions for further discussion.
