Organization and Description of Business	1. Organization and Description of Business Nivalis Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company” or “Nivalis”), incorporated in Delaware on August 1, 2012, is a clinical stage pharmaceutical company committed to the discovery, development and commercialization of therapeutics for people with cystic fibrosis. In addition to developing innovative solutions intended to extend and improve the lives of people with cystic fibrosis, Nivalis plans to utilize its proprietary S-nitrosoglutathione reductase (GSNOR) inhibitor portfolio to develop therapeutics for other diseases.
