Commitments And Contingencies	11. Commitments and Contingencies Operating Leases The Company leases its corporate offices and research facilities in Burlingame, California, under an operating lease expiring March 31, 2017 at a monthly cost of approximately $19,000. In January 2017, the Company entered into a new lease agreement for premises consisting of approximately fifteen thousand six hundred ninety-seven (15,697) rentable square feet located in Hayward, California. See Note 14. During the years ended December 31, 2016, 2015 and the period from May 19, 2014 (inception) through December 31, 2014, rent expense, including common area maintenance charges, was $0.2 million, $0.2 million and $19,000, respectively.
