The following table summarizes the impact of the changes made to the January 1, 2019 consolidated balance sheet for the adoption of the new accounting standard pertaining to leases. As of December 31, 2019, the weighted-average remaining lease term of operating leases and finance leases was 4.8 years and 3.2 years, respectively. The weighted-average discount rate for operating leases and finance leases was 10.5% and 9.1%, respectively.

The interest on financing lease liabilities for the year ended December 31, 2019 was $3.3 million. The amortization expense on finance lease right-of-use assets for the year ended December 31, 2019 was $15.1 million.
