On September 24, 2018, the Board of Directors of Inspired Entertainment, Inc. (the “Company”) determined, in accordance with the Company’s bylaws and the recommendation of the Audit Committee of the Company’s Board of Directors, to change the Company’s fiscal year, so that it begins on January 1 and ends on December 31 of each year, starting on January 1, 2019. The Company’s current fiscal year will end on September 30, 2018. The Company intends to file a transition report on Form 10-Q, covering the transition period of October 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018, following the conclusion of that transition period.
A copy of the Company’s press release announcing the change in fiscal year is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.

Inspired Announces Change in Fiscal Year End
NEW YORK, Sept. 25, 2018 -- Inspired Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ :INSE ) ("Inspired" or the "Company") announced today that its Board of Directors has approved a change in the Company's fiscal year end from September 30 to December 31. The Company's fiscal year will begin on January 1 and end on December 31 of each year, starting January 1, 2019. The Company's current fiscal year will end on September 30, 2018. With this fiscal year end change, the Company intends to file transitional financial information for the period from October 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018, following the conclusion of that transition period. Year-over-year quarterly financial data will continue to be comparative as the months that comprise each fiscal quarter will remain unchanged.
