Employee Benefit Plan

The Company sponsors a defined contribution retirement savings plan under Section 401(k) of the Internal Revenue Code. This plan covers all employees who meet minimum age and service requirements, and allows participants to defer a portion of their annual compensation on a pre- or post-tax basis. Contributions to the plan by the Company may be made at the discretion of the board of directors. During the three and six months ended June 30, 2020, the Company contributions to the plan amounted to $0.4 million and $0.8 million, respectively. During the three and six months ended June 30, 2019, the Company contributions to the plan amounted to and $0.3 million and $0.4 million, respectively.
