Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure

On May 27, 2021, Meridian Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.10 per common share.  The dividend will be payable on July 1, 2021 to stockholders of record at the close of business on June 17, 2021. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99 to this report.
