14. Related Party Transactions

The Company is party to a consulting agreement with an entity controlled by one of its directors. The agreement provides for an annual retainer of $110. The Company recognized expense in the amount of $27 and $81 for each of the three and nine months ended September 30, 2023 and 2022, respectively.

In June 2022, the Company entered into a consulting agreement with one of its directors. The Company recognized expense of zero and $1 in connection with this consulting agreement during the three and nine months ended September 30, 2022. No expense was recognized in connection with this agreement for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2023.
