Gaming Equipment, Vehicles and Other Equipment

PROPERTY AND EQUIPMENT

Property and equipment consist of the following (in thousands):

⁽¹⁾$2.8 million included in other property and equipment as of December 31, 2014 has been reclassified to gaming equipment to be consistent with the current year presentation.

Gaming equipment and other property and equipment are depreciated over the respective useful lives of the assets ranging from three to six years. Depreciation expense was $5.0 million and $3.9 million for the three months ended June 30, 2015 and 2014, respectively. Depreciation expense was $8.9 million and $8.2 million for the six months ended June 30, 2015 and 2014, respectively.
