Item 8.01 Other Events.
As previously disclosed, Greenwave Technology Solutions, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Company”), requested a hearing before the Nasdaq Hearings Panel to present its plan and request an extension to evidence compliance with the minimum bid price requirement set forth in Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a). The hearing was scheduled for June 25, 2024.
By letter dated June 17, 2024, Nasdaq notified the Company that it had regained compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a) and that the scheduled hearing originally planned for June 25, 2024 was cancelled. The Company’s common stock will continue to trade on Nasdaq under the symbol “GWAV”.
On June 18, 2024, the Company issued a press release announcing the Company’s compliance with Nasdaq Listing Standards. A copy of the press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 to the Current Report on Form 8-K.
