12.	Related Parties:

Dr. August J. Troendle, an officer and director of Medpace, which provides clinical development services to the Company, was a beneficial owner of more than 5% of the Company’s common shares during 2016. The Company incurred $3,097 of clinical development service fees under its priority access agreement and a master services agreement with Medpace for the year ended December 31, 2016 (2015 - $922, 2014 - nil). Additionally, the Company has recorded $1,010 of prepaid expenses as of December 31, 2016 (December 31, 2015 - $2,314) for future clinical development services under such agreements with Medpace.
