Explanatory Note.

This Amendment No. 1 to the Current Report on Form 8-K filed by Installed Building Products, Inc. on August 31, 2022 is being filed solely for the purpose of including the missing Inline XBRL on the cover page. No other changes have been made to the original filing.

On August 31, 2022, the Company issued a press release announcing the release of the Company’s 2022 Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) report. A copy of the ESG Report has been posted on the Company’s website (www.installedbuildingproducts.com) under the Sustainability section.
