Property, Plant and Equipment [Abstract]

Property and equipment comprises owned and right of use assets. The Company leases many assets including property, vehicles, machinery and IT equipment.

The cost and accumulated depreciation of owned equipment are as follows (in thousands):

Total depreciation expense related to owned equipment during the three months ended September 30, 2020 and 2021 was $3.0 million and $2.6 million, respectively. Depreciation expense related to owned equipment during the six months ended September 30, 2020 and 2021 was $5.8 million and $5.3 million, respectively. Depreciation expense related to in-vehicle devices is included in subscription cost of revenue.
