Description of Business	Description of Business Mirati Therapeutics, Inc. ("Mirati" or the "Company") is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing a pipeline of targeted oncology products. The Company focuses its development programs on drugs intended to treat specific genetic and epigenetic drivers of cancer in selected subsets of cancer patients with unmet needs. The Company's common stock has been listed on the NASDAQ Capital Market since July 15, 2013 under the ticker symbol "MRTX." The Company has a wholly owned subsidiary in Canada, MethylGene, Inc. (“MethylGene”).
