PASSENGERS

In October 2018, Avianca Holdings and its subsidiaries carried 2,588,823 passengers, a 35.6%

increase over the same period in 2017.

In October, the subsidiary companies of Avianca Holdings S.A. (NYSE: AVH) (BVC: PFAVH) (*) transported 2,588,823 passengers, a 35.6% increase compared to October 2017. Capacity, measured in ASKs (available seat kilometers), increased 32.4%, while passenger traffic, measured in RPKs (revenue passenger kilometers), increased 27.6%. The load factor for the month was 81.4%, a decrease of 310 bps compared to the same period of 2017.

Domestic markets in Colombia, Peru and Ecuador

In October, the subsidiary airlines of Avianca Holdings transported within each of these markets a total of 1,505,247 travelers, up 53.4% when compared to the same period of 2017. Capacity (ASKs) increased 57.4% while passenger traffic (RPKs) increased 46.2%. The load factor for the month was 82.0%, a decrease of 626 bps compared to the same month of 2017.

International markets

In October, the affiliated airlines of Avianca Holdings transported 1,083,576 passengers on international routes, up 16.8% when compared to the same period of 2017. Capacity (ASKs) increased 27.9%, while passenger traffic (RPKs) increased 24.0%. The load factor for the month was 81.3%, a decrease of 254 bps when compared to October 2017.
