State below in reasonable detail the reasons why Forms 10-K, 20-F, 11-K, 10-Q, 10-D, N-SAR, N-CSR, or the transition report or portion thereof, could not be filed within the prescribed time period.

Envirotech Vehicles, Inc. (the “Company”) is unable to file, without unreasonable effort and expense, its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2022 (the “Form 10-K”) because it needs additional time to complete its final review of its financial statements and other disclosures in the Form 10-K. The Company currently expects to file Form 10-K for the fiscal period ended December 31, 2022 within the fifteen-day extension period provided under Rule 12b-25 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.

Based on the results of its annual goodwill impairment test, the Company expects to report a non-cash goodwill impairment charge of approximately $39 million for the year ended December 31, 2022.
