Included in rent and other receivables, net is an allowance for doubtful accounts of $10.7 million and $8.6 million as of June 30, 2019 and December 31, 2018, respectively. Also included in rent and other receivables, net is $4.9 million of hurricane-related insurance claims receivable and $1.4 million of non-tenant receivables as of June 30, 2019, compared to $4.9 million of hurricane-related insurance claims receivable as of December 31, 2018.

For the three and six months ended June 30, 2019, rents from single-family properties included $35.3 million and $75.3 million, respectively, of variable lease payments for tenant charge-backs, which are primarily related to cost recoveries on utilities, as well as $3.5 million and $6.5 million, respectively, of variable lease payments for fees from single-family properties.

The Company generally rents our single-family properties under non-cancelable lease agreements with a term of one year. Future minimum rental revenues under existing leases on our properties as of June 30, 2019 and December 31, 2018 were as follows (in thousands):
