(a)    Integration costs represent external, incremental costs directly related to integrating acquired businesses and primarily include expenditures for consulting and the integration of systems and processes, as well as product transfer costs.
(b)    The restructuring charges for the three and six months ended June 30, 2021 primarily represents asset impairment charges related to the consolidation of manufacturing sites in China and employee termination costs associated with cost-reduction and productivity initiatives.
The restructuring charges for the three and six months ended June 30, 2020 primarily relate to CEO transition-related costs which are associated with Manufacturing/research/corporate.
