Subsequent Events	10. Subsequent Events On July 23, 2024, we sold the 50-bed Arizona General Hospital in Mesa, Arizona and seven freestanding emergency departments to Dignity Health for $160 million, proceeds of which will be used to reduce debt and for general corporate purposes. This sale resulted in a gain on real estate of approximately $85 million, along with an approximately $20 million write-off of straight-line rent receivables.

The entire disclosure for significant events or transactions that occurred after the balance sheet date through the date the financial statements were issued or the date the financial statements were available to be issued. Examples include: the sale of a capital stock issue, purchase of a business, settlement of litigation, catastrophic loss, significant foreign exchange rate changes, loans to insiders or affiliates, and transactions not in the ordinary course of business.
