During the three months ended June 30, 2023 and 2022, net unrealized losses of $3 million and $16 million, respectively, were recognized for publicly traded equity securities still held as of June 30, 2023. During the six months ended June 30, 2023 and 2022, net unrealized losses of $6 million and $45 million, respectively, were recognized for publicly traded equity securities still held as of June 30, 2023.

As further described in Note 21. Investments in Affiliates, during the six months ended June 30, 2023, Aptiv recorded an impairment loss of $18 million in its equity investments without readily determinable fair values.
