[1] For the three and nine months ended September 30, 2021, $0.9 million and $1.0 million, respectively, was recognized as a loss on foreign currency in the condensed consolidated statements of income, and $2.4 million and $1.8 million losses, respectively, were recognized, net of tax, as a component of other comprehensive income (loss) within stockholders' equity. For the three and nine months ended September 30, 2020, $5.3 million was recognized as a loss on foreign currency in the condensed consolidated statements of income, and a $1.7 million gain and a $7.6 million loss, respectively, was recognized, net of tax, as a component of other comprehensive income (loss) within stockholders' equity.
