Organization	Note 1: Organization We were incorporated in Massachusetts in October 1998 as EMUmail, Inc. During 2010, we changed our name to SMTP.com, then later reincorporated in the State of Delaware and changed our name to SMTP, Inc. In December 2015, we changed our name to SharpSpring, Inc. and changed the name of our SharpSpring product U.S. operating subsidiary from SharpSpring, Inc. to SharpSpring Technologies, Inc. In June 2016, we sold the assets related to our SMTP email relay product to the Electric Mail Company, a Nova Scotia company. See Note 5 for details of this disposition. Our Company focuses on providing cloud-based marketing automation solutions. Our SharpSpring marketing automation solution is designed to increase the rates at which businesses generate leads and convert leads to sales opportunities by improving the way businesses communicate with customers and prospects. Our products are marketed directly by us and through a small group of reseller partners. Prior to June 27, 2016, our Company also provided cloud-based email relay delivery services to its customers.
