Item 7.01        Regulation FD Disclosure

          On July 19, 2023, Home Federal Bancorp, Inc. of Louisiana (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Board of Directors declared an increase in the quarterly cash dividend to $0.125 per share on July 19, 2023.  The dividend is payable on August 14, 2023, to shareholders of record as of July 31, 2023.

          For additional information, reference is made to the Company's press release dated July 19, 2023, which is included as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated herein by reference thereto.  The press release attached hereto is being furnished to the SEC and shall not be deemed to be "filed" for any purpose except as shall be expressly set forth by specific reference to such filing in other filings of the Company into which may be incorporated.

QUARTERLY CASH DIVIDEND

SHREVEPORT, La — July 19, 2023 — Home Federal Bancorp, Inc. of Louisiana (the “Company”) (NASDAQ: HFBL), the holding company for Home Federal Bank, announced today that its Board of Directors at their meeting on July 19, 2023, declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.125 per share on the Company’s common stock. The dividend is payable on August 14, 2023, to the shareholders of record at the close of business on July 31, 2023.

James R. Barlow, Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer, stated, “This tenth annual increase in our dividend rate, and 73^rd consecutive quarterly cash dividend, reflects our continued commitment to creating value for our shareholders and confidence in the financial strength and long-term prospects for our Company. Based on our earnings for the quarter ended March 31, 2023, the increase reflects a payout ratio of approximately 37%.”
