Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On September 17, 2013, certain officers of Swift Transportation Company (the “Company”) plan to make presentations to existing shareholders, securities analysts and other interested persons during the Citi Global Industrials Conference. During this presentation, the Company will announce that it expects its Adjusted EPS for the third quarter ended September 30, 2013 to be up 29% to 43% from the third quarter of 2012 and in the range of $0.27 to $0.30 per share. The materials to be used in the presentation are being furnished pursuant to item 7.01 and shall not be deemed to be “filed” for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Act of 1934, as amended, or otherwise subject to the liability of that section. The information in Item 7.01 and Exhibit 99.1 shall not be incorporated by reference into any registration statement or other document pursuant to the Securities Act of 1933, as amended.
