Nature of Operations [Text Block]	NOTE 1: NATURE OF OPERATIONS Atossa Therapeutics, Inc. (the Company) was incorporated on April 30, 2009, in the State of Delaware to develop and market medical devices, laboratory tests and therapeutics to address breast health conditions. The Company is focused on developing proprietary innovative medicines in areas of significant unmet medical need in oncology, with a current focus on breast cancer and other breast conditions. The Company's fiscal year ends on December 31.

The entire disclosure for the nature of an entity's business, major products or services, principal markets including location, and the relative importance of its operations in each business and the basis for the determination, including but not limited to, assets, revenues, or earnings.
