Note 10. Retirement Plans
 
The Company sponsors a pension and various other postretirement benefit plans for its employees. Each plan serves a defined group of employees and has varying levels of Company contributions. The Company’s contributions to certain plans may be required by the terms of the Company’s collective bargaining agreements.

The Company expects its minimum pension funding requirements to be $16.6 million during 2014. The Company made contributions of $3.3 million to the Pension Plan during the three months ended March 31, 2014.
 
Additionally, the Company contributed $1.2 million to its defined contribution retirement plans during the three months ended March 31, 2014.
