Contract balances
For the three and nine months ended September 30, 2025 and 2024, the Company did not recognize material bad-debt expense and there were no material contract assets recorded on the accompanying condensed consolidated balance sheets as of September 30, 2025 and December 31, 2024.
The Company’s contract liabilities primarily relate to upfront payments and consideration received from customers for subscription services. As of September 30, 2025, and December 31, 2024, the Company’s contract liabilities totaled approximately $102.2 million and $98.4 million, respectively, and are recorded as deferred revenue on the accompanying condensed consolidated balance sheets. The majority of the deferred revenue is expected to be recognized as revenue within the next month. The remaining deferred revenue balance is expected to be recognized as revenue within the next twelve months. Given the nature of the Company's revenue arrangements, substantially all of the contract liability balance at the beginning of the period was recognized during the nine months ended September 30, 2025 and 2024, respectively.
Transaction price allocated to remaining performance obligations
The Company does not disclose the transaction price allocated to remaining performance obligations since subscription and advertising contracts have an original expected term of one year or less.
