Note 9. Lease Abandonment Charge

In connection with the Company’s abandonment of facilities in Dallas, Texas and Greenwich, Connecticut, the Company incurred $0.2 million and $0.7 million, in lease abandonment charges during the quarter and six months ended June 30, 2015, respectively, included within general and administrative expenses in the consolidated statement of operations. There were no lease abandonments in 2016. The following table details the associated liability. The liability of $0.3 million was recorded in accrued expenses in the consolidated balance sheet (in thousands):
