. Income Taxes

The effective income tax rates for the

three

months ended

March 31, 2019

and

2018

were

24.7%

and

25.3%,

respectively. The decrease in the effective income tax rate in

2019

was primarily due to the mixture of taxable income in the jurisdictions where we pay tax and state tax credits.
