Commitments and Contingencies	9. Commitments and Contingencies Legal Proceedings From time to time, the Company is subject to legal and/or administrative proceedings incidental to its business. On June 2, 2021, the Company received a $6.5 million Request for Repayment from Palmetto, GBA, LLC (“Palmetto”), a Medicare administrative contractor, regarding Ambercare Hospice Inc. (“Ambercare”), our subsidiary that provides hospice services in New Mexico. In 2018, the Office of Audit Services (“OAS”), under the HHS Office of Inspector General, initiated a clinical review of certain hospice claims billed during a timeframe from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2017. The OAS review concluded that certain payments to Ambercare for hospice services during the review period were made in error. The Company acquired Ambercare in May 2018 and has a contractual right to full indemnification from any potential losses from the OAS review through the terms of the Ambercare purchase agreement. The Company disputes the results of the OAS review and related asserted billing errors and is in the process of filing administrative appeals. At this stage, the Company cannot predict the ultimate outcome of the appeal process. It is the opinion of management that the outcome of pending legal and/or administrative proceedings will not have a material effect on the Company’s Unaudited Condensed Consolidated Balance Sheets and Unaudited Condensed Consolidated Statements of Income.
