Accounts Receivable, Net

The components of accounts receivable, net are as follows (in thousands):

For the years ended December 31, 2017, 2016 and 2015, we recorded a provision for doubtful accounts of $0.5 million, $0.6 million and $0.3 million, respectively.

For the years ended December 31, 2017, 2016 and 2015, we recorded a $2.1 million, $2.1 million and $1.6 million reserve for product returns in our hardware and other revenue, respectively. Historically, we have not experienced write-offs for uncollectible accounts or sales returns that have differed significantly from our estimates.
