Explanatory Note
Twilio Inc. (the “Company” or "Twilio") is filing this Current Report on Form 8-K/A solely to update the Company's full year 2019 non-GAAP diluted earnings per share guidance as disclosed in a press release issued on October 30, 2019 announcing the Company's financial results for the quarterly period ended September 30, 2019 (the "Original Press Release") due to a calculation error. Full year 2019 non-GAAP diluted earnings per share guidance is expected to be $0.12 to $0.13, instead of $0.16 to $0.17.

The Company has not made changes to the other information furnished with the original Form 8-K.

On October 30, 2019, the Company issued the Original Press Release announcing its financial results for the quarterly period ended September 30, 2019. A copy of the press release, as corrected, is furnished hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
