Cancellation of Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders

On December 31, 2009, the board of directors of KB Financial Group Inc. resolved
not to hold the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders (the “EGM”)
previously scheduled to be held on January 7, 2010, due to the resignation of
the sole nominee for executive director, the appointment of which was the sole
agendum for the EGM.
