Disaffiliation of a First-tier Subsidiary

On January 13, 2014, KB Financial Group Inc. (“KB Financial Group”) disclosed that as a result of the merger between KB Savings Bank Co., Ltd. and Yehansoul Savings Bank, both of which are wholly-owned subsidiaries of KB Financial Group, Yehansoul Savings Bank no longer exists as a separate entity. Following such merger, the name of the surviving entity is KB Savings Bank Co., Ltd. and the total number of first-tier subsidiaries of KB Financial Group has been changed from 11 to 10.
