Update to Response to Inquiry relating to Press Reports

In respect of the disclosure contained in the Form 6-K furnished by KB Financial Group Inc. (“KB Financial Group”) on April 4, 2012 regarding KB Financial Group’s response to an official inquiry received from the Korea Exchange on the same date, KB Financial Group disclosed on July 27, 2012 that while it has been continuously reviewing possible mergers and acquisitions as a way of business diversification, it is not currently pursuing a merger with Woori Finance Holdings Co., Ltd.
