Response to Inquiry relating to Press Reports

In response to an official inquiry from the Korea Exchange on press reports regarding alleged plans by KB Financial Group Inc. (“KB Financial Group”) to participate in a rights offering by Tong Yang Securities Inc., on July 26, 2011, KB Financial Group disclosed that such allegations are groundless.
