Convocation of Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders

of Kookmin Bank

On February 24, 2011, the board of directors of Kookmin Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KB Financial Group Inc. (“KB Financial Group”), resolved to convene an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders as follows:

• Date and Time: March 2, 2011, 2:00 p.m. (local time)

• Venue: 13th Floor, Kookmin Bank, 36-3, Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, Korea

• Agendum: Report on the planned spin-off of Kookmin Bank’s credit card business

* The agendum item above is to report on the progress of the planned spin-off of Kookmin Bank’s credit card business, which was approved at the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of Kookmin Bank on January 27, 2011.
