2. CASH FLOW INFORMATION

The Company excluded from cash flows from investing and financing activities in the condensed consolidated statements of cash flows items included in accounts payable and accrued expenses for accrued milestone and supervision payments of $0 and $4.9 million as of June 30, 2017 and December 31, 2016, respectively. Capitalized interest amounted to $2.3 million for the six months ended June 30, 2017, of which $1.2 million has not been paid out as of June 30, 2017 (which is included in long‑term debt in the condensed consolidated balance sheet). Capitalized interest amounted to $17.6 million for the six months ended June 30, 2016.
