Unbilled amounts represent sales for which billings have not been presented to customers at quarter-end or year-end. These amounts are usually billed and collected within one year. Long-term unbilled receivables not anticipated to be billed and collected within one year, which are primarily related to retainage, holdbacks, and long-term rate settlements to be billed at contract closeout, are included in other long-term assets as accounts receivable in the accompanying condensed consolidated balance sheets. The Company recognized a provision (benefit) for doubtful accounts (including certain unbilled reserves) of $(8,000) and $(302,000) for the three months ended December 31, 2014 and 2013, respectively, and $(987,000) and $1.2 million for the nine months ended December 31, 2014 and 2013, respectively. Because the Company's accounts receivable are primarily with the U.S. Government and its agencies, the Company does not have material exposure to accounts receivable credit risk.
